Linear Green inaugural breakfast session with MP Lee Yi Shyan

It was a cheery Sunday, and all RC members gathered at the coffeeshop of Blk 219.

We were all there by 8am eager with anticipation, the arrival of our MP Lee Yi Shyan

Perhaps it's already an open secret that Mr Lee is an avid user of Facebook, and his 'weapon' of choice? The BlackBerry. 

Almost immediately after sitting down with us, he whips out his BB and starts his first mobile upload of the day.
Mdm Teoh, our Chairman, starts the ball rolling with our orders of vegetarian delights.
Mr Lee with Katherine, one of our RC members, while we too, did some mobile uploads and twittering of our own :)
The vegetarian spread, complete with Mr Lee's kopi-c siew dai.
We were both honored and embarrassed while Mr Lee begins to serve us the food!

Mr Khoo and Audrey listened intently while Mr Lee talks about some manpower issues.
Mr Lee had to run 4 tables this morning! yes, there are THAT many RC members in Linear Green!

The coffee shop abuzz with activity 

As we sent Mr Lee off, we headed back to selling the block party tickets!

We are almost sold out!

The stage is set!

With food stalls serving up tasty exotic dishes, numerous carnival games, exciting performances, insightful exhibitions and of course attractive goodie bags and Coke Zero, we are set to have a great block party on the 20th June!
